Our Projects

Agriculture
Running
In both Nigeria and Sierra Leone, we have been running agricultural projects for several years. This is the driving force behind the work our foundation does. The idea behind these projects is that local communities become self-sufficient through them and can support and finance the other projects.
Education & Music
Under development
In Sierra Leone and/or Nigeria, we will build a school or run an education project that we will name after Theo Willemze. Music and education will be given ample space here. Curious about the special story behind this initiative?
Libraries
Under development
Learning to read well is crucial for the future of children and adults. By supporting libraries, we help, among other things, with the distribution of books. Discover what we do and with whom.
Relief Goods
Running
Without relief goods, our projects won't get far. For example, there are tools for our agricultural projects, books for the libraries, or materials for building a school.
Medical support
Under development
In both Nigeria and Sierra Leone, there is a great need for basic medical facilities, for example, for pregnant women. We want to address this by creating a place in the local communities where we are active, where the most basic medical aid can be provided.
Microcredit
Under development
Many residents of the communities where we are active live so far below the poverty line that they also lack the funds to set up something that could earn them money. We want to break this cycle by giving them this start in the form of a microcredit in kind, a unique concept that we will start in 2026: we donate secondhand goods that will supply start-ups. Entrepreneurs use the proceedings to build their business en partly return their microcredit back to GRO West Africa. We will reinvest that into our projects again.
