Stichting GRO West Africa (Get Right Opportunities West Africa) is an ambitious foundation based in Voorschoten, The Netherlands. Our mission: to sustainably improve the living conditions of underprivileged children and adults in Sierra Leone and Nigeria. We create opportunities in economic development, agriculture, and education so local communities can build a self-reliant future.

Your Role as Content Creator

s our Social Media Content Creator, you will be the digital face of the foundation. You will boost our visibility by bringing our projects and stories to life across social media channels. Working closely with the chair, you will help shape our strategy and have complete freedom to execute your own creative ideas.

 

What You Will Do

• Content Creation & Publishing: Design and publish engaging content for Instagram and Facebook.

• Community Management: Monitor our channels and respond to comments and messages.

• Planning & Strategy: Prepare upcoming content and align the publishing schedule with the board.

• Idea Generation: Propose innovative media concepts and creative fundraising campaigns.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong affinity with our mission and a passion for West Africa (specifically Sierra Leone and Nigeria).

• Proficiency in both English and Dutch (written and spoken).

• Hands-on experience with social media content creation and publishing on Instagram and Facebook.

• An independent, proactive, structured, and reliable mindset.
